/ Deadly Possessions

PREMIERES APRIL 2, 2016 @ 9pm ET (Travel Channel USA)

About the show:

Zak Bagans is fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening a museum in downtown Las Vegas, full of the haunted, cursed objects he has been collecting through the years. Each episode of “Deadly Possessions” features three haunted, iconic items and their owners. They share stories of how these objects have terrorized them and, in some cases, even killed people. Bagans interviews the owners and works with them to get to the root of their “attachment,” so they can free themselves… or at least escape harm from these “deadly possessions.” Items featured in the series include the Dibbuk box, the most haunted object in the world; Robert, the killer doll that inspired the “Chucky” films; a secret possession implicated in the death of actress Natalie Wood; and more.

“Robert the Doll/The Dibbuk Box” – Premieres Saturday, April 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT

In this episode, Robert – the 100 year-old doll who inspired the “Chucky” films – arrives at Zak Bagans’ Las Vegas museum. The doll is said to have cursed hundreds of people, causing death and destruction to many. One of these victims, Bonnie Randolph, comes to Las Vegas to seek Bagans’ help. Bagans hopes Randolph’s emotional encounter with the doll will resolve the dangerous curse it has put on her. The Dibbuk box is one of the most iconic and deadly items in the world. Kevin Mannis, who bought the box from a Polish Holocaust survivor for his mother, is sure the box had a part in her subsequent death. The Dibbuk box, meaning “attachment” or evil entity that attaches itself to a human, was brought to the United States by a Holocaust survivor who ignored her ancestors’ warnings to never open it, and bury it when they passed on. It’s been haunting and killing innocent people ever since. Bagans’ concerns over the situation lead him to seek the help of a local rabbi.
